This book can literally design your art curriculum for you, at any grade level! Art is Fundamental outlines three school years, anticipating a 30 minute art class twice a week. The author, drawing from her experience as a classroom teacher, provides projects for elementary students, including printmaking techniques, tessellations, watercolors, calligraphic lines, organic form sculptures, and value collages. The activities can be applied at any grade level. Though written for elementary school teachers, it can be easily condensed and adapted for middle or even high school students.
